G&R Farms was founded in 2008 by Raymond and Ginger McQueen, who shared a passion for livestock and a vision to create a thriving cattle business. Starting with a humble plot of land in the picturesque countryside of McKee, Kentucky, they worked tirelessly to transform it into the sprawling 200-acre farm it is today. Over the years, G&R Farms has earned a reputation as a trusted name in the livestock industry, renowned for producing exceptional registered Black Angus cattle, swine, and sheep.

In 2022, G&R Farms increased their herds to include both swine and sheep. In addition, they increased their leased land to over 1,000 acres to accommodate their growing business.
In 2023, they opened G&R Farms Meat Market, which would source their own high-quality beef, pork and lamb.

In 2025, they are working to launch G&R Farms Meat Market online shopping site to offer their retail beef products across the U.S.
